Record Mundial: ACS3 3.5d atinge os 288.7 km/h

Pela terceira vez consecutiva, a AC Schnitzer deslocou-se até Nardo no sul de Itália e trouxe para Aachen o terceiro record mundial.

O lendário circuito de velocidade, palco de inúmeros records recebeu mais uma vez os senhores da conceituada marca Continental assim como os editores da "AUTO BILD sportscars" para 2 dias de muita velocidade.

O ACS3 3.5d Coupé superou o último record do carro diesel mais rápido imposto em 2006 por uns expressivos 8.7 km/h. O número apresentado no display do velocímetro GPS foi 288.7 km/h, alcançado no circuito oval de aproximadamente 13 km.

Depois dos records em 2006 com o TENSION como "fastest road-legal BMW" e com o GP3.10 GAS POWERED em 2007, o ACS3 3.5d Coupé (baseado no BMW 335d) continua assim uma história de sucesso.

Naturalmente o upgrade AC Schnitzer que levou este modelo ao record mundial encontra-se disponível na gama de produtos ACS para todos os veículos BMW com o motor 3.5d.
